Additional Services
Our managers Beto and MaElena bring their great entrepreneurial spirit to the service of La Chuparosa guests. They offer airport drop-offs, home cooked meals, and surfboard rentals. The services they provide are his own enterprises. All payments go directly to Beto and MaElena and any other locals involved. We are happy to help arrange some of these services in advance and for others it works best to talk to Beto or MaElena when you arrive.
Airport drop-offs:
If you would like to arrange a trip to the airport please contact us with your flight details and departure time. They charge 1500 pesos for a return ride to the airport.
Home cooked Meals
Beto and MaElena will be happy to arrange a cook to come prepare delicious local food for you. If you’d like to have a meal prepared please give them at least a few days warning so he can make arrangements. If you’d like a meal your arrival night or the first day of your trip please contact us directly and let us know your main dish choice.
Labor charge for Meals:
1-8 people: 1000 pesos per meal for a cook. This includes the time shopping for the items in the meal as well as the cooking.
9-16 people: 2000 pesos per meal for two cooks
Meal Costs: Labor charge for a cook + grocery cost and a little for gas (Beto does not figure this service on a per person basis because that amount will vary greatly depending on the number of people sharing the labor and grocery charges as well as the particular main dish choice). Total meal cost is to be paid to Beto in pesos. If you’d like to see grocery receipts he’ll be happy to share those with you.

Pan fried red snapper (often served with a ceviche appetizer)

All Breakfast/Brunches typically include fresh fruit, juices and tortillas

Surfboard Rentals:
Beto has a variety of surfboards that he rents. If you’re interested in renting a board from him please speak to him when you arrive. There are several other places down the beach towards the point that rent boards as well, so you’ll have a number of options if you’re not traveling with your own.
Beto can also help you arrange the following services:
Massage: Want to unwind after a long day in the waves? A massage can be arranged for you with a local masseuse.
Book a local boat: If you’d rather not drive you can book a local boat to take you to a couple of nearby surf spots.
Fishing Adventure: Go on a fishing excursion in a “launcha” with a local fisherman and catch your next meal.
Horseback Riding: Explore the beach on horseback with a local guide.
